FOR THE LOVE OF THEATRE

Greetings Everyone . . . and welcome to Spring!
It is A Night for Mothers . . . Showcase for Local Talent . . . New Beginnings . . . . Hearts For Haiti . . . . all themes for our annual (our 4th one actually) theatre fundraiser. This year we are changing things up and making the event of the year accessible to many more. We have lowered our price to $45 per person and that includes dinner (3 course) and a night of entertainment. Plus there are loads of fabulous prizes for you to bid on and take away. Plus raffles and door prizes. Some of the items are absolutely amazing . . . artwork, luxury weekend getaways, design packages, fine dining, theatre packages, sports packges and more.
The venue has also changed this year so we can fit more people in. This year we are holding the event at Reflections over looking the beautiful Northwest Arm . . . . . or THIRSTY's . . or JACK's for the more 'seasoned' of us in town. The address is 72 Marine Drive and there is plenty of parking.

TIME: May 8th, 2010 at 6 PM for a 6:30 PM start

MEAL : This year the meal is supplied by Dennis Wiseman and his team at Reflections and consists of:

Salad Greens with Raspberry Vinegrette

Tiramisu (Fruit Cup for allergies)
ENTERTAINMENT:
This year we are providing you with the best of our local talent from classical to contemporary, country to traditional, both young and old, from music to theatre and sometimes a combination of both. Surely a night to entertain for all.

We have a great line up planned this year including more community outreach projects and youth acting classes. But we aren't able to acheive our goals without your support.

A LITTLE NEWS FOR ALL OUR PATRONS

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to keep you all up to date on the recent developments of The New Curtain Theatre Company. As you know our annual fundrasier is approaching. But before you run out to purchase your tickets we want to let you know that we are shaking things up a bit this year. Apart from numerous other events happening in town at the same time as our events we have decided to re-vamp this year and create an event that is more inclusive and bigger and better than before. Something that can be enjoyed out doors as well as in. This year is all about new beginnings and new paths to forge. And we are laying the seeds for alot of very exciting ideas.

We are looking at more of a concentration on community this year and the first of these items will be the start of our youth and adult acting classes. Stay tuned for exact dates and times. Also we are exploring a series of smaller events at The Loft Theatre.

So stay tuned into this site and we'll be filling you in with in the following month.

Looking forward to bring you the latest news.
